Wind River's expert services team worked closely with Redlake and helped speed time to market for this breakthrough camera by providing Redlake with the technology and services to meet their specific business needs and timeframe.

By using the MotionXtra HG-100K, automotive manufacturers such as Honda, Autoliv and Saab are quickly able to capture and analyze data obtained during rigorous crash tests. The camera, which is about the size of a lunch box, can withstand physical forces of up to 100G, and is capable of capturing 1,000 frames per second (fps) with a razor sharp resolution of 1504x1128 pixels ¾ the highest resolution at 1000 fps available on the market today. Frame rates of 100,000 frames per second are also available at reduced resolutions.
