VxWorks 653
VxWorks 653 is the industry-standard implementation of the ARINC 653 avionics specification and provides:
- Conformance with rigorous avionics safety standards: DO-178C/ED-12C, DO-254/ED-80, DO-297/ED-124.
- Independent lifecycle support – allowing individual software partitions to be modified, recompiled, and retested independently without requiring a full recertification of the entire platform.
- Deployment capability to commercial airliners, military aircraft, and satellite systems that run PowerPC processors.
