Wind River Supports Intel's StrongARM and XScale Micro-Architecture for Enhanced Wireless, Networking and Telecommunication Development

Tornado® Tools provide the next evolutionary step in integrated development environments, a more visual, automated environment that makes creating applications on VxWorks® fast and easy for developers of all experience levels. Optional product support includes WindView®, TrueFFS for Tornado, Wind Web Server™, SNMP, graphics support, and more to help customers develop a wide array of applications early in the processor life cycle.
Availability
Tornado II is shipping now on Windows, Solaris and HP-UX hosts. Hardware bring-up tools such as visionCLICK, visionICE II, visionPROBE II, and visionWARE, visionXD are also available and shipping along with Wind River's PPMC80310 and the PCI I/O card Intel XScale microarchitecture-based reference designs.
