Wind River Names Ken Klein to Board of Directors

  • Ken Klein, chief operating officer and board member of Mercury Interactive, joins Wind River's Board of Directors.

Alameda, Calif.--July 24, 2003--Wind River Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:WIND), the market leader in embedded software and services, today announced that Ken Klein, chief operating officer and a board member of Mercury Interactive, the global leader in business technology optimization (BTO), has been named to Wind River's Board of Directors. Klein brings more than 20 years of experience to the Wind River Board. Klein's operational expertise will help Wind River continue to strengthen its position in the embedded systems market.

Klein has been with Mercury Interactive for 11 years and has held several executive positions in both operations and sales. Klein also serves on the board of Mercury Interactive, and the boards of Tumbleweed Communications and the University of Southern California's School of Engineering.
