Wind River Announces CUSTOMER SPECIFIC PLATFORMS (CSP)

Alameda, CA--August 25, 2003--Wind River Systems, Inc. Through a CSP engagement, Wind River's global professional services now offers a systematic program to develop, deliver and maintain an integrated configuration of tools & embedded technologies that fits a customer's specific business and timescale needs.

A CUSTOMER SPECIFIC PLATFORM will be delivered by Wind River's professional services team, which will work as a strategic partner alongside the customer to do the following:

  • Understand the technical & business requirements, including specific objectives of end-product development teams

  • Anticipate the integration schedule and challenges of the customer's project

  • Integrate the appropriate WIND RIVER PLATFORM with other component technologies from Wind River, partners or the customer

  • Rigorously test and manage the platform release process

  • Provide support for application development, required platform modifications and additional incremental technologies
