Wind River to Showcase General Dynamics’ Secure Network Architecture and Processing Solution Running VxWorks MILS
Wind River will showcase its VxWorks® MILS Platform powering General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems' Secure Network Architecture and Processing (SNAP) solution, an open architecture multilevel secure (MLS) infrastructure for collaborative tactical network operations. SNAP enables sharing of data at high bandwidths with low latency in a size, weight, and power (SWaP) constrained environment. Part of the Wind River product portfolio for trusted systems, VxWorks MILS Platform enables the development of multilevel secure systems and cross-domain solutions by providing high security, high robustness, and high performance on a shared compute platform.
Additional demonstrations and highlighted technologies at the Wind River booth, no. 515, will include:
- Secure Devices Start with a Secure Foundation: This demonstration highlights the security features built into the VxWorks real-time operating system, and how security robustness testing can be accomplished with Wind River Simics® running on a simulated model of the Freescale T4240.
- Smart Mobile Device Security: This demonstration shows how Wind River Solution Accelerators for Android, Security enable use of an open Android platform. In addition, it shows how Wind River embedded virtualization technology allows multiple guest operating systems to run on the same platform.
- System Consolidation with Open Virtualization: This demonstration showcases Wind River open virtualization technology and how enterprise and embedded applications can be consolidated on advanced Intel® processors while maintaining high throughput and minimal latency with high-performance networking.
