Wind River Delivers Android Expertise to Clarion AX1 Automotive IVI Device

Wind River provided Clarion with a customized Android software platform and software integration services to develop a high-quality IVI device that delivers greater connectivity and multimedia capabilities. In addition to more traditional IVI features such as AM/FM radio, GPS navigation and Bluetooth streaming, the Android-based Clarion AX1 includes leading-edge features such as the following:

- App store access to buy and download music using the Infogo online music store.
- Compatibility with Android smartphones/tablets and iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads

- 6.5" capacitive multi-touch display
- Rear camera input capability
