Wind River Announces Agreement with Leading Japanese Electronic Product Distributor JEPICO

TOKYO, Japan — March 15, 2013Wind River®, a world leader in embedded and mobile software, has entered into a distribution agreement with JEPICO Corporation, a leading electronic products distributor in Japan. Under the terms of the agreement, JEPICO will market, distribute, and provide sales and product support for the full Wind River portfolio of software, related hardware, and other products to customers in Japan.

Founded in 1972, JEPICO‘s business is focused on three areas: sales and marketing of self-developed and manufactured electronic devices; import and sales of embedded hardware and software and electronic components; and system integration. The company has a global business presence, with sales subsidiaries in North America, Europe, and Asia. JEPICO has an especially strong presence in aerospace and defense markets, and recently contributed to a JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) project for the asteroid explorer Hayabusa.1
