Wind River to Showcase Device Software Optimization at Smart Networks Developers Forum 2004

  • Hands on demonstrations of VxWorks 6.0 and Wind River Workbench

In a special hands-on tech lab, Wind River will demonstrate VxWorks® 6.0, the next generation of the world's most proven operating system. The company will also demonstrate Wind River Workbench, the new Eclipse-based development environment for both VxWorks and Linux, the two established standards in device software development.

Additionally, Wind River engineers will lead technical breakout sessions, where attendees will learn to:

  • Increase the accuracy and speed of debugging in a Linux environment

  • Enable heterogeneous IPC, from single processor to multicore to cluster

  • Use new compiler optimization technologies to produce fast, efficient code.
