Wind River Attains Prestigious Service Certification For Third Consecutive Year
"The Wind River team is making outstanding gains in performance and has shown a clear commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement," said Gordy Stauffer, SCP auditor and senior consultant at the audit company, Service Strategies. "As a result of their dedication, Wind River's Support Operations have achieved certification in SCP Standards for another consecutive year, which confirms that they are a world-class provider of technology solutions."
To achieve SCP certification, companies are measured on 125 different criteria across 12 categories including customer feedback, services delivery and performance metrics. The requirements become more stringent each year, requiring organizations to pass annual reviews to retain their certification status.
"Our customers demand world-class support and Wind River is committed to continually improving its rigorous support practices," said Barry Mainz, chief operating officer at Wind River. "Our customers know and trust that SCP certification means that Wind River is at the top of its field and we're proud to be the only embedded Linux vendor to earn this esteemed certification year after year."
The SCP Standards are used by leading technology companies in approximately 20 countries worldwide, and Wind River is part of a recognized roster of organizations that have achieved this certification, including EMC, IBM, Lockheed Martin, McKesson and Nokia.
Wind River Customer Support is a global organization with six major support centers and 21 additional support hubs worldwide, making it the largest in the device software industry. Additional information about Wind River’s SCP certification is available at www.windriver.com/support/.
