(NASDAQ:WIND), the global leader in Device Software Optimization (DSO), today announced the immediate availability of Workbench Acceleration Services, a new comprehensive developer solution that gives customers the necessary skills to implement and adopt the advanced design, development, and debugging tools in Wind River® Workbench, the company's industry-leading, commercial grade device software development suite. Wind River's Workbench Acceleration Services Suite delivers a flexible, comprehensive solution that addresses many common challenges with implementing an integrated development environment. By leveraging Wind River Workbench Acceleration Services, customers can ensure productivity gains are accelerated and adoption challenges are swiftly addressed.

"Workbench Acceleration Services allows developers to fully integrate Workbench with their current development infrastructure and processes, enabling our customers to achieve a faster return on investment, and to optimize development of their devices," said Damian Artt, vice president of worldwide services at Wind River. Workbench Acceleration Services includes an initial assessment that will identify the tasks needed to integrate Workbench into the development lifecycle. Also included is a Workbench Effectiveness Survey to recommend adoption of other programs, as needed. Workbench Assessment is a fixed price/fixed scope service of USD $3,000. The companion Workbench Effectiveness Survey is also a one-day, fixed price/fixed scope service of USD $3,000. All other services are priced at time and materials. Workbench Acceleration Services are sold and delivered by Wind River Professional Services and Support.
