Wind River Systems to Present at Military Electronics Conference and Show 2003

WHAT:
Steve Blackman, director of business development for aerospace and defense at Wind River, will present two sessions at the Military Electronics Conference and Show 2003 entitled:


-- "Killing Bugs on Mars: A NASA Case Study"
The case study will detail how NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory utilized a COTS solution to successfully meet the development schedule for the Mars Pathfinder Mission.

-- "Meeting RTCA/DO-178B/12B and ARINC 653 Safety Requirements for Critical Systems"
This presentation will explore and review the DO-178B/ED-12B software guidance document and the ARINC 653 standard. It will also discuss how equipment makers can benefit from an ARINC 653 COTS based solution that introduces the possibility of software reuse and incremental certification.
