Wind River Earns Sixth Consecutive ‘Top Workplace’ Honor

ALAMEDA, CA – June 24, 2019 – Wind River®, a leader in delivering software to critical infrastructure, announced it has been named a “Top Workplace” by the Bay Area News Group for the sixth consecutive year in its profile of the top places to work in the greater Bay Area. Wind River was highlighted for its culture that fosters collaboration and innovation, as well as creating an atmosphere where people thrive and enjoy coming to work.

The annual list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

“The Top Workplaces program recognizes companies that cultivate a great working environment that unlocks employee potential and inspires performance,” said Jim Douglas, President and CEO of Wind River. “We are so honored that year over year our employees feel engaged, proud and valued as a result of our company culture that emphasizes collaboration as well as personal empowerment.”

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey added. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
