Certicom Security Architecture (941)
Comprehensive, Cross-platform Security Architecture for Embedded Developers
Product Highlights
The Certicom Security Architecture allows you to quickly and cost-effectively implement a trusted platform so strong, built-in security can be applied to trust services such as:
• remote device upgrades
• applications like secure boot and anti-cloning
• code signing and authentication
It is a comprehensive, portable and modular security architecture that provides :
- cost-effective software development and faster time to market
- an easy way to migrate from legacy crypto systems such as RSA, to today's standard for public key cryptography, ECC
- meets industry standards and stringent government security requirements, enabling access to new markets
Product Description
The Certicom Security Architecture consists of a standards-based suite of modules that provide core cryptography functions, hardware support packages to expose cryptographic functionality found in the chipset and higher-level security services.
The Certicom Security Architecture includes the following cryptographic providers:
Security Builder® Crypto - a cross-platform cryptographic module
Security Builder® GSE - a FIPS 140-2 Validated cryptographic module
Security Builder® NSE - a cryptographic module for national security applications
Security Builder® BSP - board support package for optimized hardware security
The Certicom Security Architecture also includes the following security services:
Security Builder® ETS - embedded trust services module
Security Builder® SSL - complete Secure Sockets Layer security protocol module
Security Builder® PKI - digital certificate management moduleSecurity Builder® Security Builder® IPSec - high performance client-side VPN module
Beep Science DRM - client and server-side DRM module
All components of the Certicom Security Architecture for Embedded are pulled together by a common API, Security Builder® API, that sits between the security services and cryptographic providers, and enables access to the fastest and/or strongest security on the device, whether it resides in hardware on the chipset or in the software cryptographic provider.
