PPC7A is a major leap forward for Radstone's PowerXtreme Single Board Computer (SBC) roadmap. It offers a powerful combination of the very latest technology and features and full compatibility with the PowerXtreme feature set, first defined in 1995. Advanced design and assembly techniques have been utilized to pack more features on this board than ever before, without compromising the fully rugged PowerXtreme pedigree, backed by Radstone's 40 plus years of experience.



PPC7A offers a choice of the very latest PowerPC processors, enabling the user to optimize the match between CPU performance and application requirement. The processor is fully supported by an Integrated System Controller providing high data bandwidth from both volatile and non-volatile memory and a bridge to a 64 bit 66 MHz PCI bus. Two PMC sites on this bus provide access to further incremental system expansion if required.
