Developed in the early 1980s for military applications and then commercialized in 1984, Systran's 1553 Solutions(TM) are a market leader in MIL-STD-1553 system simulation. Now in its fifth generation, the product line has continued to evolve to meet changing market needs. With what is possibly the largest installed base of commercially available 1553 boards in the world, 1553 Solutions engineers have the experience and technological know-how to continually keep pace with customers' requirements in hardware development, simulation testing, systems integration, production testing, bus analysis, and flight line and field testing.



These products employ custom microcode to replace industry-standard protocol chips, allowing them to emulate a bus controller, one of 31 different remote terminals, or act as a bus monitor. It is this custom microcode that has become the hallmark of the 1553 Solutions line, along with the flexibility and cross-platform compatibility offered by this approach.



The latest generation of Systran's 1553 Solutions, designated the Gold+ series, achieves both hardware and software compatibility between single-function and multifunction boards. This line is joined by a PCMCIA Type II card, a single-function card designed primarily for use in portable applications.
