Product Description

ClassHopper is a robust, lean, high-performance alternate queuing discipline framework for VxWorks 5.x and VxWorks AE. ClassHopper's unique, advanced features include a class-based queues implementation and a framework for supporting custom queuing disciplines. Its small footprint and robustness have been specifically designed for use in an embedded environment. In addition, ClassHopper performs traffic classification, conditioning, and scheduling in both input and output directions. ClassHopper offers unsurpassed flexibility through its many built-in queuing implementations and customizable features. Applications for today's heterogeneous networks require many different protocols. As a result, traffic must be prioritized in order to satisfy time-critical as well as less time-dependent applications. Driving quality of service metrics at the network level involves choosing appropriate queuing disciplines for managing bandwidth effectively. ClassHopper is the optimal solution for voice and video applications that require guaranteed real-time throughput and bandwidth allocation for critical data streams.
