Wind River SBC8347E/49E
The Wind River® SBC8347E/49E (SBC83xx) reference design is a 6U form factor board that allows developers and project teams to begin development before their own custom device hardware is available.
This reference design offers a solid platform for both hardware and software development. Hardware engineers can use the schematics and documentation to design their own custom board, while using the reference design itself to validate low-level software and begin firmware, board support package (BSP), and device driver software development. Software engineers can use the VxWorks® or Linux BSP platforms provided with SBC83xx to start prototyping applications on a stable reference board that closely parallels their device hardware.
The SBC83xx reference design comes complete with detailed schematics, a bill of materials, a VxWorks 6.x or Linux 2.6.x board support package, user documentation, an optional protective Plexiglas enclosure, a single-slot CompactPCI backplane, and a power supply to provide you with a turnkey basis for your own custom design.
