Alameda, CA, April 29, 2008 – Wind River Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: WIND), the global leader in Device Software Optimization (DSO), today announced it has extended support for RMI Corporation's multi-core multi-threaded XLRProcessor™ Family with its Carrier Grade runtime platforms, Wind River Platform for Network Equipment, Linux Edition 2.0 and SMP-ready VxWorks 6.6. This additional support will enable RMI's enterprise and network infrastructure customers:
