IMPORTANT CHANGE TO INSTALLATION / ACTIVATION PROCESS

Thank you for choosing Wind River for your device software development needs.

You have been directed to this page because you are installing a product for which the installation process has changed.

To install your Wind River product:

Step 1 - Install product:

Follow the original installation instructions and select the option that asks you to get a License File later.

Step 2 - Retrieve your license file:

You can now activate your products online at: http://www.windriver.com/licensing

Instructions for using the product activation site are included online, or a demo is provided to guide you through the process. You will need to establish an online support account if you do not already have one. To generate your license you will also need your license number and License Administrator Token that were included in your shipment.

If you are unable to generate your license online, send your request to license@windriver.com including the following information:

  • Your name
  • Contact details
  • License number
  • Product description and version
  • Quantity required
  • License type (Node-locked, Floating or Unique User)
  • Host name and Host Id

Step 3 - Complete your license setup:

Once you have downloaded your license file (or received it in an e-mail if you requested a license through the manual process), resume your installation by completing the setup of your license. Your licensing guide describes the process.
