Product Description
AIM's range of MIL-STD-1553 test & simulation modules use an innovative 'Common Core' hardware design, using multiple RISC Processors, an on board Application Support Processor, scalable memory and an IRIG-B Time Code Decoder / Processor. Backplanes supported includes PCI, CompactPCI, VME, VXI, PMC, PCMCIA & PC104+.
AIMs MIL-STD-1553 modules are available in Multi Function or Single Function versions with multiple dual redundant streams. Functionality includes Bus Controller, Remote Terminal, Bus Monitoring, Recording and Physical Bus Playback.
Total software support includes on board driver software and a full set of Application Interface calls (API's), which are operating system independent. Powerful Windows based Databus Analyser/ Visualiser Software supports multiple Avionics Bus streams combining all supported databus types.
