A PCI-X/PCI Analyzer, Exerciser, Protocol Checker and Compliance Checker

Vanguard PCI bus analyzers debug, test, and validate in a PCI or PCI-X environment. This analyzer captures and displays up to 2M samples of bus activity at rates up to 133 MHz using powerful trigger and store qualifiers, and offers extensive system performance measurements. The exerciser emulates master or target devices and offers a script engine. The protocol checker detects 45 PCI and 71 PCI-X protocol errors. The compliance checker runs automatic device test scripts based on PCI SIG compliance checklists and reports failures for designers. The analyzers are controlled via Ethernet or USB from a PC running Windows and VMETROs BusView graphical user interface. A single workstation can control multiple Vanguard analyzers for monitoring different protocols, like PCI-X/PCI, PMC, PCI Express, XMC, CompactPCI or VME. The Ethernet port enables connection to Vanguard analyzers anywhere that a network connection is available.
