Broadcom has a family of high-speed CMOS-based optical networking chips for data networks and telecom networks. These CMOS-based silicon solutions enable telephone and service providers to cost effectively transport voice and data traffic across metropolitan and wide area networks by reducing the cost and power and increasing functionality of equipment to support these voice and data services.
