DC-ISIS is extremely scalable, supporting more than 256 circuits, with algorithms designed for millions of routes. Multi-instance Routing Table Manager, CSPF calculator, and sub-network dependent components can all be distributed onto line cards.



DC-ISIS is integrated with Data Connections high availability framework, and provides redundancy and high availability, with uninterrupted CSPF calculations and packet forwarding across hardware or software failures, and adjacencies maintained across protocol manager failures.
