Single-Slot, 6U VMEbus, Pentium III-Based Processor Board

Thales Computers' PENTX3 is a single-slot, 6U VMEbus processor board designed around the Intel Pentium III processor at 500MHz, with a 100MHz memory bus and a 33MHz PCI interface. The PENTX3 supports fast SCSI, 10/100Mb/sec. Ethernet, one PCI mezzanine card slot, and AGP graphics functions. ISA peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, serial ports, parallel port, IDE, and floppy disk interface are supported. Also available is one USB port and a flash disk that appears as an IDE disk drive. All the I/O signals pass through the five-row DIN P2 connector and the P0 connector on the VME64 extensions backplane.



The PENTX3 is available in convection-cooled, militarized, and conduction-cooled versions.
