Universal PMC Processing Module

The Promentum ATCA-1000 is a powerful ATCA solution that enables multiple ATCA modules through different PMC configurations  PrPMC, Security (IPSec/SSL), Storage, I/O PMC, etc. The first configuration of this module is a Quad CPU Server Module. The ATCA-1000 includes a baseboard with four PMC sites with flexible configuration and interconnectivity between them. In addition to the traditional PCI bus, the PMC sites have Gigabit Ethernet and IPMI connectivity. The baseboard features an onboard eight-port Gigabit Ethernet switch that provides layer-2 connectivity to the PMC sites and the base interface (PICMG 3.0). Two of the eight ports are connected to the base interface. PMC sites 1 and 3 have two ports each while sites 2 and 4 have one port each. The ATCA-1000 is fully compliant with the ATCA standard and is designed to be incorporated into High Availability (HA) systems with 99.999% up time. It provides comprehensive management firmware to interface to the shelf manager and functions as a fully managed building block.
