Advanced TCA Blade Server Platform

The Promentum SYS-6000 platform is an integrated SA Forum HPI 1.1 compliant blade server platform targeted at server applications to support call control, mobile user registration databases, authentication, DHCP, etc.. It can also be used in the services plane for IP Multimedia Systems such as Push-to-connect servers and media servers. The platform is complete with a 12U carrier grade shelf with modules that provide switching, compute, storage and I/O functionalities. This carrier grade platform enables the OEMs to concentrate on their key value add  application software  while relying on comprehensive system engineering and integration by RadiSys.



The platform is pre-validated with a variety of RadiSys and other third party modules for configuration integrity and enables OEMs to address multiple applications using specific configurations. For example, customers can build a storage intensive platform with compute modules and a built-in SAN functionality for storage. Alternatively, they can build a high performance compute platform with primarily CPU modules. The open nature of AdvancedTCA standard enables either RadiSys or the OEM to add third party modules to extend the functionality of the blade server platform.



Validated RadiSys modules include the ATCA-1000, ATCA-2100, ATCA-3000 and ATCA-4000 in the ATCA-6000 shelf. Please refer to each specific module data sheet for more detail.
