Product Description

The VORTEX open data recording and playback engines include 3rd generation hardware platforms that are designed or selected to provide the highest possible streaming data throughput from I/O interface to storage system. In addition, these engines are available with choice of operating systems to include VxWorks, Linux, and WindowXP. Completing these very capable engines is the extensive VMETRO open recorder software libraries that utilize a common code base across all hardware and OSs providing fully maintained and consistent APIs, capability, and compatibility across all VORTEX recorder, SAN and workstation connectivity products.
