OpenSplice DDS is a high-performance, real-time publish/subscribe middleware, which enables Quality-of-Service (QoS) enabled Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and net-centric applications.



Designed by leading industry experts, OpenSplice DDS delivers the right information to the right place at the right time - all the time. OpenSplice DDS is field proven in the most demanding mission- and business-critical applications including defense, aerospace, air traffic management and control, manufacturing, financial services and utilities.



OpenSplice DDS provides a full implementation of the OMG DDS v1.2 standard, implementing the data-centric publish-subscribe (DCPS) layer as well as the productivity-boosting Data Local Receonstruction Layer (DLRL). OpenSplice DDS is equipped with high productivity MDE PowerTools, provides seamless integration with DBMS and CORBA, and comes with a security add-on for information assurance.



OpenSplice DDS’s basic kernel is available under Open Source licensing with optional subscription bundles available from PrismTech that include both professional support and value-adding features and tools.



OpenSplice DDS is available and optimized for Wind River VxWorks 5.x and 6.x.
