The Army FACE Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) is an opportunity for The Open Group FACE Consortium members to showcase their efforts toward developing FACE applications for new war-fighting capabilities for the services. Our target audience is the Army community, but other customer communities are invited to attend, and previous events have seen hundreds of Army, Navy, and Air Force attendees.

Join us at this year's event in Huntsville, AL to see demonstrations of FACE certified products, products aligned to the FACE Technical Standard, papers presented on using the FACE Technical Standard and business practices, and presentations by U.S. Army and other DoD leadership.

The Event will include:

  • FACE introduction
  • FACE paper presentations by government and industry
  • FACE exhibition booths

"I'm excited that my organization is hosting the next FACE Technical Interchange Meeting this September. The FACE Technical Standard and supporting ecosystem is a critical component of Army Aviation's strategy for moving to open systems architectures in accordance with Congressional and DoD mandates. This TIM is a great opportunity for industry and our sister services to share, collaborate, and advance open system approaches for aviation weapons systems. I look forward to seeing a good turnout."

– Brigadier General Thomas H. Todd III, U.S. Army, Program Executive Officer, Aviation
