Redlake needed to develop a product within a tight project timeframe.

The device software needed to be networked and reliable.

The data obtained from this extremely reliable camera enables engineers at automotive manufacturers such as Honda, Autoliv and Saab to quickly capture and analyze information collected during rigorous crash tests, leading to enhanced vehicle safety features.
Redlake utilized a combination of key Wind River Platform components — including Wind River's VxWorks RTOS, Wind River Workbench and the company’s network stacks.

Wind River's services aided in the overall design and development of the hardware and software as well as prototyping and production for the camera.

Wind River's expert services team also worked closely with Redlake and helped speed time to market for this breakthrough camera by providing Redlake with the technology and services to meet their specific business and timescale needs.

With pre-integrated technology developed and tested by Wind River, Redlake was able to focus on their core expertise in imaging and bring this innovative camera to market faster.

Redlake delivered the camera ahead of schedule.
