Wind River and West Health Institute Demonstrate Research Advances in Medical Device Interoperability to Lower Cost of Healthcare
Posted on February 28, 2013

Wind River® and West Health Institute have collaborated on a research demonstration that enables seamless, standards-based communication between medical devices and information systems.  It highlights how software, tools and reference designs can allow for end-to-end medical device interoperability. Wind River provides the development environments and supporting infrastructure for the demonstration to develop, integrate, test and validate West Health Institute’s research software running on its Wind River Linux operating system. The demonstration will be featured at the HIMSS13 Interoperability Showcase™ next week. More information is available here
