General Purpose Platform
General Purpose Platform, Linux Edition serves as a solid foundation for the development of a variety of devices, from aerospace and defense applications to networking and consumer electronics gear, robotics and industrial applications, precision medical instruments, and navigation and telematics systems in automobiles. Based on version 2.6.21 of the Linux kernel, General Purpose Platform, Linux Edition contains support for a variety of hardware devices, file systems, networking protocols, security features, and management capabilities.
