Mobile World Congress
February 14–17, 2011
Barcelona, Spain
Wind River is showcasing its mobile software solutions at the 2011 Mobile World Congress (MWC). Device and equipment manufacturers are quickly moving to transform their products with the latest mobile and wireless connectivity and capabilities. This year we'll demonstrate our software solutions that address the mobile market from multiple angles: handsets, wireless network infrastructure, and the emerging mobile machine-to-machine (M2M) market.
Our mobile, networking, and M2M industry experts will be on hand to meet with you and discuss what it takes to successfully transform your device, network element, or product to take full advantage of the latest in mobile and wireless technologies. Whether you're designing an Android or MeeGo handset, tablet, or other mobile device, accelerating the network, adding intelligence in your infrastructure products, or trying to figure out how to design mobility into your nontraditional connected device, Wind River can help.
Schedule a meeting today at MWC with our team of experts to discuss your next project. We can help get your products to market faster, design in greater competitive capabilities such as network intelligence and performance, assist with system integration, quality, conformance, and open source implementation, and significantly lower risk and project cost.

Android and MeeGo
Wind River will demonstrate solutions that utilize both the Android and MeeGo run-time technologies. We will showcase the only commercially supported Android platform, Wind River Platform for Android, running on the latest Texas Instruments (TI) mobile processor. Also on display will be Wind River's Android and MeeGo test framework, Wind River Framework for Automated Software Testing (FAST), which helps test open source distributions for performance, quality, and system conformance.
Network Acceleration
In the Wind River booth we will be showcasing breakthrough packet forwarding capabilities with Wind River Network Acceleration Platform. We will demonstrate 11 million packets per second per core throughput on an Intel Xeon multi-core processor. The demonstration will highlight not only the performance and optimization with the Intel processor but full run-time and tools integration with the next-generation Kontron carrier grade server CG2100. If you're building a network element that demands packet acceleration and capacity expansion through software, you'll want to see this demonstration.
Mobile Technology
Also on display will be Wind River software technology running in the Avaya Flare IP phone. This Android-based phone is a great example of the residential phone taking full advantage of the latest in mobile technologies. The phone provides a base station and a removable wireless tablet with access to the multiple Android applications on the market today. This demonstration is only available by appointment. Make sure you schedule your time today.
