Operating in Tomorrow's Airspace

When: March 5–6, 2008
Where: Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Wind River Booth E31

Many avionics devices have been traditionally developed using custom hardware and software. However, the increasing demand for more functionality in less space while reducing manufacturing and operational costs has led the industry to use COTS-based software-partitioned solutions. Added to this is the demand for proven safety-certified systems with very high assurance at an acceptable risk.

This has provided equipment manufacturers with a dilemma, when requirements range from noncertified test systems to generic computing platforms that can be used in multiple types of applications and, in some cases, can run multiple applications at different safety and/or security levels concurrently.

Tomorrow's airspace will be different, with many new challenges facing avionics system manufacturers. If you would like to discuss how Wind River can help you face any of these challenges, visit us at Avionics 2008, Booth E31. To arrange a meeting with Wind River executives or technical representatives at the show, send us an email.
